The St. Peter's Mission Committee began exploring the idea of having an international partner in mission. We sent our first small delegation to Managua in 2009 and have traveled there annually ever since. We now have a formal partnership with CIEETS which stands for, The Interchurch Center of Theological and Social Studies. Rather than undertaking the traditional mission work of immediately stepping in with structural improvement projects, this partnership is being developed in accordance with the Presbyterian Church (USA)'s approach of doing mission in partnership with those whom we seek to support in the spirit of mutuality and respect, spending time learning about each other's culture and sharing our faith journeys.  Visit the CIEETS website for more in-depth information. Building Homes in Mexico with Amor Ministries

St. Peter's has two opportunities to build houses in Mexico for people in need. Our annual Easter Project (EP) takes place during Spring Break when St. Peter's youth and staff head to Mexico with Amor Ministries to build houses. We also offer an adult trip to the same area in collaboration with Amor Ministries.  It is difficult to express the growth of the Tijuana area and the fact that the same needs still exist today as did years ago. We are so grateful to have been sent by this church to be representatives of Christ to people who pray, hope and desire something better for themselves.
